This handsome man was found at the Silverlake Dog Park he was abandoned with his friend (the Handsome young man to the right)
Glen and Pal were abandoned at a dog park, their leashes left hanging
neatly on the fence, flapping in the wind. These two sweet boys were wandering
around the park together, waiting for their owner to return. A good Samaritan
found them and wanted so badly to help them … but she has several
dogs of her own and no way to keep them at her house, so she took them
to the pound. She visited them often, praying for the day that they might
be saved —and dreading the day they might be killed instead. Finally,
time had run out for Glen and Pal, so Critters rescued them. Glen is a
happy miniature Golden Retriever. He is mellow, sweet, and easygoing.
They guess that he’s probably 4-6 years old. He’s a far cry
from hyper, but he is definitely friendly, outgoing and loves to trot
around the play yard! Pal is a somewhat shy and reserved Shepherd Mix.
Once he knows you, he comes out of his shell and is the sweetest of boys.
When he and Glen are in the play yard, you can always find Pal either
following Glen around, or sitting in front of you hoping to be petted.
We believe he's about 4-5 years old. Both of these boys are calm and VERY
well behaved and both have already been neutered. Both come when they’re
called and love people. These two boys have been together since puppy
hood and are each other's security blankets. They deserve to stay together!
